Runkle Team 

You could say that real estate is in the Runkle family’s blood the Runkle’s have a true passion for selling real estate. Gayle has been selling real estate for twenty six years and Dayton for nine. Dayton and Gayle will be married thirty years in 2009 and have three children, Nelson, Laurie and Noel. 

Gayle graduated from Michigan State University and was licensed to sell real estate in 1983. She sells throughout the Kansas City Metroropolitan area and specializes in lake properties. Her goal is to “match the right person with the right house.” Gayle has consistently maintained a position in the top 1 percent of agents nationwide by putting her client’s needs above all else.

Dayton graduated from Northern Michigan University and joined Gayle in real estate in 2000 to assist her growing business with client service. Previous to real estate, he worked in sales for a national company in sales. Although, Dayton works as a buyer’s agents, he specializes in behind-the-scenes company operations focusing on the business’s Internet operations, signs, inspections, photography, flyers and more.

The Runkle Team consistently ranks No. 1 in their office in sales performance and most recently ranked number seven in the four state region. 

The Runkle Team makes it a priority to attend the company’s national sales conventions and other professional development seminars each year to ensure they stay on top of the market trends and technology.  

The family’s company goal is to serve their clients and be their real estate agents for life. They offer after sales client care including, monthly mailing, web site, referral directory and an annual client appreciation party. 

Both Gayle and Dayton are very active in their community Dayton is serving as a board member for One Good Meal and Dayton delivers meals to those members of the community who are shut in once a week.   Gayle and Dayton are members of the Missouri Yacht Club, Lee’s Summit Rotary and the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce.  

In 2009, their daughter Laurie joined the company after attending the University of Missouri and majoring in parks and recreation tourism because of her love of the outdoors and sports. In addition to being a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority at MU, she was also on the water ski team. She lives in Kansas City, Mo.  now and she will be in charge of client care as well as a buyer’s agent for the team. She is a 2003 graduate of Lee’s Summit North High School.
